In-house and Onsite Pilot plant studies are essential in establishing the feasibility of any membrane application. Sample analysis, dip stick studies on small volume test beds followed by next level pilot sized batch trials will give a fair idea: firstly whether the application will work; then, which membrane/s is/are best suited; required pre-treatment and data for scale up.A typical work flow from a concept to the final end result is pictorially shown aside.
