- Ceramic MF installed not only helps in clarification of protein extract but also removes unwanted insoluble fines from extract, thus enhancing the purity of the protein of interest.
- Spiral wound Ultrafiltration (UF) installed downstream further adds value by concentrating clarified extract enriching interest protein by removing ~80% of water. Along with concentration, UF also removes lower molecular weight components such as carbohydrates, ash, and organics thus purifying protein further.
